Eating out, playdates and sometime for me… Happy Days #3

Eating out, playdates and sometime for me… Happy Days #3

I am so pleased to have found this lovely Linky by ‘What Katy Said’ and ‘Quite Frankly She Said’ called Happy Days.

Here is what Katy and Sian say about it…

The idea of this linky is to inspire others to make the best out of every day, to see the happy in the little things. As no matter what, there is always something good in every single day- we just need to take the time to see it.

This week we have had lots of days meeting up with friends and family. Alice is on Easter holidays from preschool and while she is not there all week, I am loving have her home with me and Holly everyday.

Here we go, lets talk happy moments…

bullet heartWe had lunch out with some friends that were over from Switzerland with their new baby and we also got to catch up with old friends that we hadn’t seen for a while. We were there for three hours and all the children were amazing. It’s never easy eating out, juggling naps and keeping the girls entertained. But we had a fab time!

bullet heartAlice had her first playdate with a friend at preschool that she loves to play with. It was a big hit.

bullet heart

I love spending time with my niece, its harder now she is at school, I used to see her every Tuesday. The girls all adore each other. We had a lovely day out at a local farm park, the sun shone and it was great spending some time with her.

bullet heartAlice had her second sleepover at nan and grandad’s house, you can read all about her first one here. She had the best time and while I miss her so much, the smile on her face makes it worthwhile.

bullet heartAndy’s parents love to spend time with the girls and its harder for them now Alice is at preschool. So, during the holidays they always like to see the girls. I think its good for them to sometimes go without me, as I think the grandparents can spoil them a bit more when mummy isn’t watching and isn’t that what going to grandparents is all about. It was only a few hours, but it was lovely after a busy Easter holidays to have some time for me.

Another fab week with no preschool routines, I will miss that next week…have a great week everyone!

  1. What a lovely week you’ve had with lots of fun times with friends and family. I love holidays for being able to catch up with people that it’s more difficult to catch up with in term-time. Glad to hear you’ve been making the most of it! 🙂

Sounds like a lovely week. When I try to catch up with friends it can go either way – either the kids are angels or they turn it into a very stressful endeavour – I never know which way it will go!
