A Valentine’s Gift Guide…For The Man In Your Life!

With February just around the corner, it brings with it Valentine’s Day. Andy and I have always marked the occasion, but we never go out for dinner, even before we had children. Because they are always really busy, they tend to have a set menu and it’s just not an enjoyable evening. We prefer to get a take away or I will cook us a nice dinner.

When it comes to gifts it can be difficult, Christmas has only just happened and you’ve exhausted all your ideas on what to buy the man in your life.

Here are a few ideas if you’re struggling to find the perfect gift.

Driving Experience Days

An experience is a great idea for a gift. It’s nice to have something to look forward to and for that someone special in your life to experience doing something that they love. Driving Experience Days are a great gift, you get to pick your favourite car and who doesn’t like to put their foot down. Making memories can be the best kind of gifts.

Prezzybox is my go to place for getting gift ideas for any occasion, they have something for everyone. My favourite for the man in my life is this gorgeous watch. Andy loves watches, in fact we both do. He doesn’t have a really nice leather watch at the moment and I love this one.

You can also get it personalised which is a lovely touch for Valentines’ Day and you can add any message that you wish to. This personalised mens watch is priced at £59.99, it’s currently on offer at £55.

Debenhams offer a great range of gift ideas for Valentines Day, from leather belts to bluetooth headphones. They have something for everyone. Andy is need of a new wallet and they have a gorgeous Jasper Conran gift box set which would be perfect.

Debenhams are giving all customers FREE next day delivery when they spend £70+. Just pop in code SH6A when you checkout. Valid for today only (26/1/18).

Homemade Card

You can’t beat the personal touch and my girls love to make cards. Last year we made these Kissing Hand Pop-Up Cards and they loved making them. Andy loved receiving them and they were the perfect gift. I even got one too!

Do you celebrate Valentine’s Day?

I find my husband is so difficult to buy for, I love the idea of an experience day. Homemade cards are the best aren’t they =)

That watch is beautiful and I love the engraving. I may also have to steal the hand card idea 🙂

We celebrate with a nice 3 course meal, flowers and wine and a card to each other. We used to go out back in the day before we had kids but its just as nice now to stay in! Experience day is always a winner with the men!

My husband is so hard to buy for! This year we will be traveling back from visiting his parents on Valentines Day so will probably be a take away for tea and a movie on netflix!

Those cards are so adorable what a wonderful idea. I love that you can personalise the watch, that makes it all the more special. I hope you have a lovely Valentine’s Day and get spoilt with cards and flowers xx

We don’t often do much – but I think he’d love the idea of a driving experience or something similar. Thanks for the great ideas.

  8. Fab ideas, I love the card, that’s so cute. We do tend to celebrate a little, nothing major since the kids thwart any plans of a date night.

I love the watch, honestly my other half is a nightmare to buy for ! I swear all men are just so fussy ha

Lots of brilliant ideas here. We do tend to cook a nice dinner or something, but typically not on the actual day as it’s our daughter’s birthday on the 15th so we tend to be busy cake decorating or wrapping presents or something! 😀

We don’t really celebrate Valentines too much, I think it is one of those that becomes pressured to be special. So I’d rather flowers or a meal out some other time. I am about to buy my hubby and I a spa day together though. Mich x
