Some of my fondest childhood memories are from our holidays together as a family. My dad worked hard and long hours, it was a time that he could really relax and we could all be together for a week.
When Alice arrived one thing that I knew I wanted for her, was a family holiday each year. It didn’t matter if it was 2 nights away or 2 weeks away, if it was a caravan in Devon or a villa in France. As long as we had this time together as a family.
Of course travelling with little ones is a complete game changer and will never be the same again. But it is so worth it.
Mark Warner have set bloggers a challenge to come up with their Top Ten Travel Must Haves and design a mood board in a competition to become the next #MarkWarnersMum or #MarkWarnersDad. This is our entry to the competition.
I thought I would ask Alice, age 4 years old, what her ‘Must Have’s’ are for going on holiday and she decided to draw them for you all and then talk you through her mood board on camera. She definitely gets her confidence from her daddy!
Alice’s Top Ten Travel Must Have’s are…
- Nan and Grandad
- Bucket and Spade
Here are a few photos of Alice creating these boards and a little video at the end to tell you why she choose them…
Here is our giant mood board in the words of Alice…
Thank you for reading and watching our video, we hope you liked it as much as we enjoyed making it.
