It’s been a pretty normal week for me this week. I love the simplicity of our weeks, Holly and I have our little routine while Alice is at school and we are all really happy with it.
I read this week that Instagram are now letting some third party apps access to enable business users to schedule their Instagram posts. Whilst I prefer to post mine live, it would be really handy to have this option when we are on holiday and I want to share a photo, but I don’t have to be worrying about the ‘right’ time to post it.

Goodbye January….Hello February! I quite liked January this year, I went on my first trip to Scotland with some friends. I loved the slowness it brought after a busy December and having no plans at the weekends. But I’m now ready to up the pace a bit and can’t wait for spring to arrive!
I went out for dinner with some friends a couple of weeks ago and we were discussing Netflix series to watch and a couple of them said I had to watch The Sinner, that is was amazing.
Well I have been binge watching it and it is AMAZING! It’s one of those that you are desperate to get to the end to see what happens, but then you don’t want it to end as you love watching it so much. I definitely recommend it!
At the moment all my girls want to listen to and dance to is Black Magic by Little Mix. I feel like I have it going around my head all day long. Time to get them into a new song I think.
We made plans! We’ve booked our holiday to Cornwall in the summer and we can’t wait. We’ve never taken the girls to Cornwall before and it’s such a beautiful part of the country. The girls are really excited, especially Alice as we will be on holiday for her birthday for the first time and she can’t wait to hopefully spend it on the beach.
I wore a smile. Because yesterday I got a text message from Alice’s school to ask me to attend assembly on Friday as Alice was being awarded. I couldn’t be more prouder of her. She doesn’t know about it and I can’t wait to see her little face when she see’s Andy, Holly and I sat in the hall.
Goodbye January, Hello February. Whilst I’ve loved the slowness of January, I’m ready for February and some family time in half term.
I hope you’ve all had a lovely week.
