Sharing The Blog Love Showcase…#85

Welcome to this week’s #SharingtheBlogLove showcase, where I’m sharing with you my 4 favourite posts from last week’s link up. I hope you all had a lovely Easter weekend, even if it was a soggy one. We had one dry day and headed out to a National Trust for an Easter Egg Hunt, which the girls loved.

Mini-Human Resources

I loved this post from Kayleigh last week, 12 Things that being a parent has made me, I think we all go into parenting thinking that it won’t change us. But it does! Some ways are not that great and other ways it’s changed me for the better. Yes, I’m constantly tired, I look haggard and I’m a rubbish friend (the not so great bits!). But I’m the happiest I’ve ever been, I enjoy the ordinary moments and I feel loved, like I’ve never felt before.

Toby Goes Bananas

I remember reading about Sarah saying she had never had an afternoon tea and I was amazed by this. I adore an afternoon tea and I was so pleased to see that she had finally managed to enjoy one too. She shared her Mothers Day treat with us, Afternoon tea at The Clifton Arms, and it looked delicious. I have recently been for afternoon tea with my mum and I agree with Sarah, it was really nice to sit and chat undisturbed. Do you enjoy an afternoon tea?

Bubbablue and Me

I love a good list and this post that Emma shared with us is great, 30 things kids should experience before they are teenagers, it is full of lots of lovely experiences that I remember from my own childhood and lots more that I want to experience with my girls over the next few years. I was pleased to see that we’ve already got many of them ticked off.

Musing of a Tired Mummy

Alice loves doing Rainbows and looks forward to it every week. It was lovely to read Laura’s post about her son’s time at Beavers, Thank you scouts from a grateful parent, To hear about how he has grown in confidence and been inspired to learn new skills. This is what I love about it, it gives them a chance to learn things outside of school life, different things that they otherwise wouldn’t have been able to do. It’s great to hear that he has joined Cubs, where I’m sure he will have just as much fun!

If you missed any of these posts last week, it would be great if you could pop over to one of them and give them some extra love…
