Welcome to this weeks #SharingtheBlogLove showcase where I’m sharing with you my favourite posts from last week. There was a real mix of posts to choose from. Don’t forget to pop over and see who Katy is showcasing this week.
This is a brilliant post that I urge you all to read, What I have learnt about finding a work life balance. I admire Clare, she works, she runs a successful blog and she is raising 2 boys. I honestly don’t know how she does it. I know she isn’t alone and there are so many other wonderful people doing this too. Clare shares some advice on how she gets the balance, manages life and what she has learnt.
Rice Cakes and Raisins
How you ever been friend-dumped? I have and it’s not a very nice experience. It appears that I’m not alone. This is a really honest post, Ghosting – How To Let Go, on what that feels like, how it affects other friendships and also saying that it’s time to change this and moving on. It resinated a lot with me and I know that I carry it around with me, letting it affect other friendships and holding back.
Old House In The Shires
I adored this post and feared this post in equal measure, A Daughter’s a Daughter for life. Having 2 daughters its a post that I couldn’t help but love as it’s all about the love and the bond between a mum and a daughter. How it can be unbreakable and that your daughter will go on to become your best friend. This is what I hope and dream that I will have with both my girls. But it was a post that also worried me, as what if I don’t get it right? what if the foundations I’m laying down now have the opposite affect. It would break my heart not to have a close, loving relationship with my girls as they become adults. I guess I can just do my best, give them all the love I have, guide them on the right path and pray it’s enough.
Toby Goes Bananas
I love a good list and siting down to think about what I would like for 2018. I recently wrote my 18 for 2018 post and Sarah has shared hers too, 18 for 2018 – Plans for the New Year. One thing that I couldn’t believe she has never done, is have afternoon tea!! I’m hoping she ticks this off the list. If you are looking for some inspiration on goals for this year, head over for a peek.
If you missed any of these last week, then please pick one and give it some extra love.
