It’s that time of the week where I share with you my favourite posts from last week’s #SharingtheBlogLove. It’s one of my favourite posts to write, as I love having the opportunity to give a shout out to some brilliant bloggers. We were spoilt for choice this week and I enjoyed reading them all.
Five Little Doves
As bloggers we share a lot of our lives on our blogs and on social media. People probably assume that we share everything, but in fact we share snippets. At the end of the year we tend to reflect back on the year we’ve had, I think even if your not a blogger, you naturally do this. My beautiful friend Laura shared with us what her 2017 was like for her. But instead of it being the post that I think a lot of her readers were expecting to read, it was a very honest post about what her 2017 has really been like – 2017 – The Year I Didn’t Share With You. As with all her posts, it’s beautifully written and I’m proud of her for writing it, but I’m more proud of her for everything she has gone through and still having a smile on her face. The best bit is the results she has received at the end of year and it is definitely worth a celebratory drink!
Little Ladies Big World
With each year that Alice’s birthday comes around, it feels like a milestone. When I saw that Laura’s daughter was turning 7 years old, that feels ‘big’! Eva has been through a lot this year and Laura has made some big decisions for her daughter. Reading her beautiful letter to Eva, Happy 7th Birthday Eva, it was lovely to read that the decisions were the right ones. That Eva is a happier child because of it, she is a lucky girl to have her mum in her court.
Dot Makes 4
Writing a bucket list each year is a great way to capture what you as a family would like to do in a year. This year they’ve written a Family Fun List, which is a great idea and they already have lots of fun ideas on there. What’s great about a list like this is you can continue to add to it.
At this time of year its a time where we think about what we would like to do and achieve for the year. For some people that can be learning a new skill and taking the step to start a course to learn. Sarah has shared with us a great post full of resource for anyone that is looking to do this, in her post – Online Courses To Help You Succeed in 2018. If you’re looking to start a course this year, this is the post for you.
A really mixture of posts for you this week. If you missed these last week, it would be great if you popped over to one of them and gave them some love…
