Welcome back to #SharingtheBlogLove Showcase, where I share with you my favourite posts from our last linky. I hope you’ve all had a lovely summer, it’s been nice to dip in and out reading all your posts and I definitely appreciated not having the pressure of running the linky weekly whilst the girls were off.
Anyway we are back and the linky will go back to being weekly.
Rice Cakes and Raisins
We’ve all been there, trying to put our children to bed and they throw everything at you. This post, How to prolong bedtime when you are 4, made me smile. Having been a parent for 5 years I think I’ve had all of these from one or both of my girls. When all we want is for them to close their eyes!
Bell From Bow
When you become a parent it’s a constant learning and I don’t think that ever stops. But the things that you do learn are eye openers for any parents to be for new parents. Head over and take a look at this post, The 10 things I’ve learnt since becoming a parent and see if you can relate to any of them.
Toby Goes Bananas
Children’s birthday’s you definitely feel the pressure to make it amazing for them and that includes the cake. Whether you buy it or make it, it has to be right. My mum and I tend to make the girls cakes together and the girls have always loved them. When I saw a photo of the cake Sarah made for her son Toby, I was amazed. She then kindly did a step by step guide on how she made it, How to make a Numberblocks cake, and the level is amazing and the end result even better!
Meme and Harri
I’ve always been a book work and pre-children I used to read a lot of books. I still read every night before bed, but I fall asleep reading and it takes me ages to finish a book. What I do love at the moment are books that are inspiring or will help me with my blog as I get more and more into it. Natalie shared 2 inspirational books she read over the summer and they are both books that are now on my list to read. If you are looking for book recommendations head over for a look?
If you missed any of these, why not head over and give them some extra love…
