It’s that time of the week where I share with you my favourite posts from last week. I’m so pleased to see Katy back from her break after the safe arrival of Ben. She is sharing her favourites too from last week over on her blog.
As we the summer holidays start and we edge closer to the start of school in September, there will be so many children starting new schools for so many different reasons. Every child deals with school differently and one area that I had not considered was adopted children and while they may struggle with school. This is why I love this blog, I learn so much about something I don’t know too much about. I hope this post, Dear teacher is my adoption child in your class? reaches all the people it needs to. I know that if I was a teacher this would be valuable information to know about a child that would be in my care. Let’s share this post wide and far.
I have so many fond memories of the Isle of Wight as a child and it is a place that is on my list to take the girls. One place that I will be sure to visit is, The Isle Of Wight Monkey Haven. I mean who doesn’t love monkeys? And it looks like a great day out. I love that is a home for rescued monkeys and it looks like they now have a lovely home.

My husband is a really positive person and over the years this has worn off onto me a bit. And I mean a bit! Reading this post, Being more positive, reminded me that I need to be more positive. To try and look for the positives more in life, when I often just see the negatives. It’s not healthy and I’m sure life would be a better place if we all tried to see life more positively.
Believe it or not summer is here! We just need to remind the sun of this fact and hope it returns soon. We are a family that love a day out and it’s always good to have recommendations and have a read of places to go. Louise has shared her, Summer Days Out With A Toddler In and Around Surrey, she has included some great days out. Including one of our favourites, Wellington Country Park.
If you missed any of these it would be great to pop over and give them some extra love…
