Musings of a Tired Mummy
Such a beautiful post, The end of an era. As your youngest child grows up and they do something for the last time, it really pulls on the heartstring. And making that decision that your family is complete isn’t always an easy one. I think for a lot of people they never really ever make that decision completely.
Toby Goes Bananas
As you get older birthdays aren’t always that much fun and when you become a parent you start to look at yourself differently. I loved this poem that Sarah wrote, On being thirty-nine. It’s so true that we are not once the person we were when we become parents and that what we see staring back at us in the mirror, isn’t what our children see. This is one not to miss out on!
The Adventures of an Allergy Mummy
A really honest and sad post from Chloe,I’m A Young Mum, And I’m Not Ashamed. It made me sad that she felt that she had to hide away when her beautiful daughter was born, I can’t imagine what that must have been like. I’m so pleased that Chloe no longer feels like this and she can see hold head high and be proud of the mum that she is. Her final words in this post are beautiful…
Age is just a number…It’s love that counts
Mummy Snowy Owl
Looking for a craft idea for your children? This is a great idea, Spring Pine Cones. I used to love doing this as a child and had completely forgotten about it until I read this. I am going to get the girls to collect some on our next walk and have a go at this. I know they will have lots of fun.
If you missed any of these posts last week, why not pop over and give them some extra love.
