Despicable Me and Minions first came into my life from my niece, Ruby. She loved them from day one and I will never forget going to her school Christmas fete and getting her face painted as a Minion! My poor brother’s face was hilarious…
Since starting school Alice has started to become more aware of Minions and has now watched the films. She was excited when we were recently sent an Radio Control Inflatable Jumbo Fluffy from Bladez Toyz.
While the girls had their afternoon snack I got it already for them. To be honest I thought it would take me a while, but thankfully I was wrong. You pop the batteries in (these are not included), inflate Fluffy and you are ready to go.
I’m the sort of person that doesn’t read the instructions first, I just like to get on with it. But sometimes this fails me and I should learn my lesson and read them! This was one of those times and I started to press the button to make Fluffy move and it didn’t work. After reading the instructions I realised that you have to press and hold the button for 5 seconds, then it’s off!
It’s really easy to use (once you’ve read the instructions!). The top button to go forward and the bottom button to turn Fluffy around. Both my girls got to grips with it really quickly.
It goes quite quick, it was pretty hard to get the photos before it whizzed off.
Holly has completely fallen in love with Fluffy, she hasn’t stopped playing with it. We don’t have any other toy like it and it definitely has the fun factor.
We tried Fluffy on carpet too and it worked just as well, as on the wooden floor. Maybe not as quick but it didn’t stop the girls.
It wasn’t long before Alice came up with the idea that they could play hide and seek and Fluffy could come and find them. Don’t you just love their imagination at this age.
What I love about Fluffy is that once they’ve finished playing with her, you can deflate her and it packs away nice and small.
On Saturday 8th July, The Entertainer has a Despicable Me Super Saturday and they will be demonstrating the remote control inflatables in stores, with races too. Why not pop along and take a look for yourself.
The RRP is £29.99, but you can currently get them at The Entertainer for £24.99. They also come in a Jumbo Mel and a Jumbo Tom.
We were also really lucky to be sent the latest Barbie Spinnerz, whose children are not obsessed with fidget spinners?
My girls love them and they have kept them entertained on car journeys, at hospital appointments and just relaxing at home.
These Barbie Spinnerz are going to be launched in a couple of weeks and will be available at Bladez Toyz.
With the sunny days arriving we are going to take Fluffy for a spin outside, I can see us having lots of fun over the summer.
