This year we weren’t planning on having a holiday as we moved house just before Christmas. But with some hard saving, we managed to book a break away to Pembrokeshire, Wales.
We love Wales and have been several times before, it’s a place we know well and as we were booking last minute it made sense for us to go back. Andy had booked two weeks of work and we booked the holiday the day after Holly’s third birthday for seven days.
It meant that we had the whole summer waiting to go on holiday, but it was worth the wait and I think we may have had one of the best weeks of the summer holiday with brilliant weather.
With Holly getting older and not needing a nap as much as before this was our first holiday where we weren’t restricted too much. She still loves a nap and needs one most days, but could cope with having a snooze in the car as we travelled somewhere.
We really did have a lovely holiday, the girls played well together and slept so well!! I wish every week was a holiday, but then I guess they wouldn’t be special.
Here is our holiday in pictures, as they really do the talking for me…
