My Little Snapshots…

My Little Snapshots…

This last week has been a mixture of having the girls home for the last bit of half term and getting back into our routine. Along with a little trip away for me to see one of my friends, that I have been waiting for such a long time. A real mixture of a week, and a lovely one too.

Here is my little snapshot of this week…

A Climb Up A Big Hill… On Saturday we were going to have a day at home, but the sun was shining and after lunch we all decided to head out for a walk. Well it was actually more of a climb and a big steep hill. But once we got to the top the views were amazing and worth it. The girls didn’t complain once and we had cookies as a treat when we got to the top.

Love Bourton On Water.. On Sunday we decided to head to Bourton on Water in the Cotswold. It’s a beautiful place and definitely worth a visit. We went to the model village, which the girls loved and then they liked spotting the bigger versions of the buildings we had seen. We had lunch and then a nice walk around, followed by an ice cream because it felt like a spring day. It was a nice relaxing day out.

A Bonus Day … The girls had an inset day on Monday and they always feel like a bonus day off with my girls. I’ll be honest and say that I prefer an inset day at the beginning of the holidays, as by the Monday I think we were all ready to get back into our normal routine. But I will always love anytime I have with them. We spent the day with my parents, the girls did crafting and then we headed to the park. It was really nice in the sunshine.

Time With My Beautiful Friend… I headed to Oxford to spend some time with my friend, Laura. We met through blogging and she has become one of my best friends. We chat all day long and she is on the same wave length as me. There isn’t a day that goes past where we haven’t laughed. She lives at the other end of country and we haven’t met up for a few months. It’s been really nice to see her, to hug her and to literally laugh all day. We walked, we shopped, we ate all the food and we talked non-stop. It’s been good for my soul and just what I needed.

This weekend… The weather looks miserable all weekend and we don’t have that much planned. It’s the last weekend for a while where we don’t have plans and I think we will be making the most of it.

I hope you all have a lovely weekend.
