I’ve been really tired this week, the effects of a busy and wonderful weekend at Centre Parcs. We had the most amazing time and it a really lovely family weekend. We went for my Mum’s special birthday and my brother and his family came too. It was a great place to celebrate, start the festive fun and the girls just loved it.
We’re now in full Christmas swing and I’ve been feeling a bit overwhelmed with it all. There is so much to remember, with things happening at school, seeing friends and family and getting organised for Christmas.
But, it is one of my favourite times of the year.
Here is my little snapshot of this week…
A Weekend In Centre Parcs… Last Friday we picked the girls up from school and headed to Centre Parcs for the weekend with my family to celebrate my Mum’s special birthday. It was a brilliant weekend and we took the girls to Winter Wonderland, which they loved. They got to see Father Christmas and it was a lovely start to the festive period.
I Finished a Book!… I love to read and used to be a book worm, but its hard now to find the time. But I’ve been taking more time out to read and relax myself. I finished Gary Barlow’s autobiography and it was very good. I love Take That and it was really interesting to read a very honest account of his life.
Rain, Rain and More Rain … It hasn’t stopped raining all week and does everyone else find it always rains just as its time to do the school run? Thankfully I’ve been nice and dry thanks to my beautiful new Mary Poppins Umbrella. Isn’t it amazing? I just love it and the handle is just fab. It’s got me excited for the new movie! You can buy this amazing umbrella here.
Bath Christmas Market … I adore Bath and I went to Bath Christmas Market with my cousin, its the first time I’ve gone at Christmas and it was lovely. We did ice skating, drank hot chocolate, brought fudge and chocolates and had a lovely day. It’s definitely got me in the festive spirit and I’m wondering if we can fit in a trip ice skating with the girls.
Christmas Movies… I’ve started to watch Christmas movies this week, it’s my guilty pleasure for the last hour before I pick the girls up from school. I’ve watched The Holiday, obviously, it is my favourite. I also watched The Christmas Princess, which I wouldn’t recommend!!!! Any recommendations on what I should watch?
This weekend… We’re off to London on Saturday and the girls are very excited. We have a quiet day on Sunday, with only Holly having a birthday party to go to.
I hope you all have a brilliant weekend.
