I can’t believe another month has gone past since I last wrote about my girls. Last month I wrote about a difficult time we were having with Alice and I’m pleased to say that behaviour hasn’t returned and she has been her normal self. Which is such a relief!
This month has been a really lovely one for them both. We’ve seen Alice pass level 7 of gymnastics and I’m so proud of her. Going to gymnastics every week is the one thing she loves the most. Its so lovely to see her so passionate about something and doing what she loves. Holly passed level 2 swimming and she is was so determined to do it and I’m really proud of her. It means that the girls lessons are now side by side and we don’t have an annoying 30 minutes in-between to kill. Which makes me happy!
We’ve also had the first week of the Easter holidays and I can’t believe that Holly only has one more term left of reception. I thought Alice’s first year went quick, but Holly’s I’ve literally blinked and we are here. She is doing so well at school and has made some lovely friends too.
We were already for the holidays and its been really lovely to have the girls home. Yes, it is more exhausting having them home and I collapse on the sofa at the end of each day, but I wouldn’t want it any other way. We’ve spent time seeing friends and family, whilst also having some time at home baking and crafting. All the things they love to do.
Andy is off this week and its so lovely to be all together. The weekends are never enough and he hasn’t had any time off since Christmas.
I’m really lucky that they get on so well and love each other fiercely. They do squabble, but not that much and its over before its started. I hope they will always be this close and be grateful to have each other.
My photos are from a walk in the woods, and we stopped for a sit down and the girls play around us for a while. Making a treehouse and having fun.
