March has been a lovely month for us, the weather has been getting nicer and nicer as the weeks have gone by and we’ve been making the most of them.
We love to get outdoors as much as we can at the weekends. We all feel a lot better for it and we love to go and discover new places for a walk.
The girls have both made us proud at school with great parents evenings for them both. Plus last week we went to assembly to see them both get presented with awards. Holly’s was for always trying her best and never giving up, which pretty much sums up our little girl. Alice’s was a headteachers award for showing Respect to Others, which is one of the school values and is a really lovely thing to be recognised for. I love that they recognise behaviours, and not just academic achievement.
We only have a week left at school before the girls break up for the Easter holidays and I think we’re all ready for it. Even though it feels like they’ve not long been back since half term, they are tired and ready for a break. Andy has the second week off with us and we can’t wait to have him home. I think he is ready for a break too, as he hasn’t had any time off since Christmas.
Our photos this month were taken on a family walk. We had headed to a local woods near us and the girls were having great fun making a treehouse and playing together. Andy and I just sat and watched them for a while and it was so lovely. Its at moments like this that I appreciate that they are now older and we don’t have to as involved with everything.
