The week started off as a normal week and then the snow arrived and yesterday and today Alice’s school has been closed. Which means that all my plans for the end of the week went out the window and we went into full snow mode.
After my friend Laura recommended and seeing it all over social media, I’ve been reading Oliphant Eleanor Is Completely Fine. It’s definitely a page turner and I can’t wait to see where the story is going to go. She is an odd character and I can tell there is a lot to still find out about her. Watch this space…
Andy and I have been watching Married At First Sight and it’s one of those programme where you spend the whole time saying, this is just weird. They’ve not met each other and they are getting married. But it’s so addictive. It’s the parents I feel sorry for, they always look very worried for their child and I don’t blame them.
Nothing to see (or hear!) scroll on down…
With the snow arriving we headed outside for some snow fun. We attempted to make a snowman, but it was a bit of a disaster. The snow is really powdery and isn’t sticking together! But we still had fun on the sledge and I’m sure we will be back out there tomorrow.
We got our snow clothes out to keep warm while we were out having fun. I wore my snood and my new mittens that I got in the Jack Willis sale for a bargain. When I brought them I didn’t think I would wear them until next winter, how wrong was I! When we came home we were all a bit soggy and it was gloves, hats and scarfs onto the radiator to dry.
We had lots planned for this weekend, but because of the snow we had to rearrange our plans for Saturday and I hoping that the snow melts soon, as we are meant to be going out for dad’s birthday on Sunday.
I hope you all have a lovely weekend.
