Living Arrows 50/53 {2018}

“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”

by Kahlil Gibran

It felt like a long week, I think its because Alice’s after school activities have finished for Christmas and therefore its been a slower week. Not so much rushing around after school.

As we were away the weekend before in Centre Parcs we finally have our tree up, later than normal, but at least its now up. It was dark by the time we did it and I’m not normally a fan of taking photos indoors without natural light, but I love this one of Alice. She gets so excited about putting all the decorations on the tree. I’ve trained her well and she knows not to put them all close together. We just need to train Holly now 🙂

Holly had a mermaid and pirate birthday party to go and I just love her as a pirate, she looks SO cute. She had a brilliant time and I love being able to get a glimpse of her with all her friends.

    Your Christmas tree photo is so festive. This is the first year I’ve managed to take nice Christmas tree photos. We had the same issue with light. I’m looking forward to the longer days already and we haven’t even got to the shortest one yet! #LivingArrows

    You’re right, photos indoors in unnatural light are totally ok at Christmas! I wish we had a slower pace – there is still so much going on for us at the moment. We need coffee dates again in the new year – I’ve been rubbish x
