Living Arrows 36/53 {2018}

“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”

by Kahlil Gibran

Last week was our last full week of the summer holidays and school starts back for us on Wednesday. We had a lovely week, just the girls and I. We spent a lot of time with my parents which was lovely, I know that they are also soaking up this time with Holly before she starts school. And they really miss Alice since she started school, so they like to see them as much as possible over the holidays.

With it being the last weekend before school and it promised to be a sunny one, we headed to the beach and spent a perfect together. The girls loved it, were having a brilliant time and no one wanted to leave.

    The weather this weekend has been perfect, hasn’t it? Not too hot but still deliciously warm and sunny. The beach looks wonderful! #LivingArrows

    So glad you had a lovely time. The end of the summer is bittersweet – you don’t want it to end but you know it has to. I hope Holly is settling into Reception well? #LivingArrows
