“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”
by Kahlil Gibran
Last week the girls didn’t go back to school until Thursday and the few days before we had a mixture of relaxing at home and going out. On the last day they asked to go to The Vyne, and off we went. The sun was mainly shining, with just the odd bit of wind and it was nice to make the most of the sunny weather.
The girls played in the play area, we had lunch and then we headed to the green area to sit on the deckchairs. The girls watched the swans, did cartwheels across the grass and ran around. We only stayed a few hours, but that is why I love having our National Trust passes, because we don’t feel like we have to stay all day. Its nice for the girls to let off some energy, but then to still come home and relax in the afternoon.
