Living Arrows 31/53 {2018}

“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”

by Kahlil Gibran

Once we arrived back from Jersey, the rest of the week we had a quiet one. A chance for us to all to relax and just enjoy being at home. No school run, no routine and slow mornings. It was just what we all needed..

I don’t really like getting the painting out, its a lot of work and Alice normally does it for 5 minutes and it doesn’t seem worth it. She asked me if she could do painting and promised she would do it for longer.

We set up it up outside with their art easels. We were kindly given one by a friend for Holly and it was great that they both now had one. They had great fun and spent ages doing lots of painting. Holly was singing as she did it and Alice and I were laughing.

    That’s so sweet. Thankfully the weather has been great so you can take all the mess outside! x #LivingArrows

    You are exactly the same as me – I hate the mess!! This looks like a great setup though – and they look engrossed! x

    How lovely that they each have their own easel, and it does make life easier when you can do things like this outside! x #LivingArrows

    Great idea!! I am always put off painting for the same reason. They look like they are very dedicated to their work. Hope you have had a lovely week xx
