“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”
by Kahlil Gibran
This week has been a busy one at school, with Alice leaving the infants there are a lot of leavers events. We had her leavers service at the church which was beautiful and in the evening she had her talent show. Alice had written an acrostic poem about the school and she had learnt it by heart and stood up in front of all the year two parents to read it out. I was so proud of her.
At the weekend we had both the girls parties on Saturday. Holly’s was in the morning at a play barn and she loved it. Her little face when I took over her cake and everyone sang happy birthday, she was so happy.
Alice’s party was at home in the afternoon. We did originally plan to have it on the same day, but a school event got moved and it clashed. So, I had to move it and I just decided to get them both done. It was a pottery painting party and Alice loved it. I was exhausted by the end of it, but also pleased to have them both done for another year.
