“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”

by Kahlil Gibran

Last week Alice went on her first visit to her new school, it was only a short visit with me to get her familiar with it ready for when she goes on her own today, eek! We arrived early and while we waited Alice found a tree stump to stand on and said she on the stage and started singing to me.

We went away for a few days last week and Holly came across this old piano and couldn’t wait to clamber up and have a go. She loved that there was a seat so that she could reach it.

How lovely. My two love a piano too, I can’t wait until they’re old enough to learn to play.

That’s sweet that Alice sang to you. Obviously a future performer. I love it having musical children – it’s brilliant how they have no nerves at this age and just go for it uninhibited
