“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”

by Kahlil Gibran

On Bank Holiday Monday we meet up with our friends for the day and they had pony riding. Alice has never done it before and she wasn’t too sure. After a bit of persuasion and seeing her friend go off on one happily she got on. She loved it and is now desperate to do it again!

We’ve been enjoying going out in our garden whenever we can. During the day and after school when Alice is home. I love this one of Holly who decided to be brave and try going down the slide on her tummy.

    Love the photos 🙂

Always great to get out in the garden when it gets sunny. Our eldest is always out there on his slide if the weather is good. If it were up to him he’d be out there in the pouring rain as well!

Aww that look on her face says it all – i love that the days are getting warmer and only hope that we have a decent summer this year!

We love the summer as we get to use the garden! Love how brave she was with the horse…I’m terrified of them! #livingarrows

Her face is a picture 🙂 I love horse riding as a child and I’m excited about the prospect of my daughter (or son’s) having a go! x

Such a brave young lady to go horse riding. I went 2 years ago and I haven’t been on a horse in 15 years. It was hard. #livingarrows

Your garden seems like just the perfect space for the girls to play and I love the pony riding photo – A and T are doing that next month – although they don’t know it yet – and I hope they’re brave too! x

What a brave girl! I always wanted to learn how to ride a pony when I was little. Well it’s never too late I guess! xx #LivingArrows

Love that both photos are of the girls being brave, in their own ways! I remember the first time I rode a horse on a school trip, it was so scary, I didn’t know how to get it to stop! x #LivingArrows

Oh wow! I went pony riding as a child and the memories have stayed with me! I hope they have for Alice too, so brave bless her. It’s so nice you have been able to enjoy the garden #LivingArrows

Lovely photos – ours adores horse riding and has asked for lessons – i’m not sure if we will do it but it’s nice when we’re out and about #LivingArrows

Alice looks fab up on that pony – I’m really allergic to them so there’s not much chance of my boys going anywhere near a pony anytime soon! And I love Holly on the slide – I wish our garden was a bit more kid friendly so we could get out more. #LivingArrows
