“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”
by Kahlil Gibran
Last week it was really nice to have an extra day with the bank holiday. We headed to a nearby village for their annual May Day village fayre with our friends. We went a couple of years ago and had a great time. The girls remembered that last time Alice rode on a pony and they couldn’t wait to do it again. Plus Holly was old enough to do too this time.
It was really lovely to see how happy they were on the ponies. They loved it so much they had a second go before we went home. It was a really lovely afternoon. They watched a magician, did circus skills, bounced on the bouncy castle, played in the park, had an ice cream and more. It was a really relaxed day and the children were all well entertained. No one wanted to go back to school and work on Tuesday!
