“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”

by Kahlil Gibran

Last week was our second week of the Easter holidays and we had a lovely nice slow relaxing week. Andy was back at work and it was just the girls and I. We had days at home thanks to the rain, where we did baking, colouring and danced a lot.

We met up with friends and family. But mainly it was just the girls and I together and yes the weather could have been better and I did moan about the rain a lot. But I loved having them home with me.

My photos this week are from one of our many trips to a National Trust. I’m always grateful to have our membership during the holidays as the girls and I can pop there for a little trip and it doesn’t have to be a big expensive day out.

Lovely photos! We love the national trust, there is always something to see and do, and I love the space to let the children explore safely. It was our second week too and I feel a bit lost without them all today!

The National Trust is always such a great use of time – and such an easy day out too. I love having our membership! x

Lovely photos of both the girls! We don’t have National Trust membership, but I know my brother gets a lot of use out of his. We tend to just go to the beach for a free day out here! x #LivingArrows
