“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”

by Kahlil Gibran

One thing that Holly absolutely loves is playing with sand. She loves the sand table at preschool and has always loved our sandpit. When we moved house the sandpit got emptied and a couple of weeks ago when we headed out into the garden, Holly lifted up the lid of he beloved sandpit to see it empty! This week I brought her some sand and she couldn’t have been happier. She ran to get her diggers and has played out there everyday since.

Alice finished school on Friday for the Easter holidays. As soon as she got home we headed into the garden and she ran round and round the garden so happy. Crazy child!

Ahhh the holidays are SO exciting!! I’m tempted to get our little boy a sandpit this summer but I’m worried he’d still be a little little, that said I think he’d be half in it just like Holly seems to be!! #livingarrows

My daughter has recently discovered sand – she used to hate it and would scream when it touched her but thanks to a huge sand pit at one of our local parts, she now loves having a play! Beautiful pictures #livingarrows

I really struggle with sand so leave J to play with it at mums haha! It’s so funny watching the run around when they’re wired like that isn’t it? #LivingArrows

Aww bless, they’re so happy to have a couple of weeks off aren’t they? I think it’s time for a break, they get so tired. My two love the sand as well. I hope you all have a lovely Easter break.

Hurrah for the holidays! Love that one of Alice, I can just imagine how excited she was! I’ve said it before, but you’re a braver lady than I am with the sandpit – Max is a nightmare with his and just empties it all over my flowerbeds! This year he seems to have forgotten that it ever had sand in though, and I’ve kept it as just water 🙂 Enjoy the rest of your holidays! #livingarrows

Luke loves sand, but if there’s the choice between sand and water, it’s water every time! He’s a messy child. Hope you enjoy the holidays! #LivingArrows

It looks like you have such a lovely outside space for the girls to play. A and T love playing in the sand too! x

We’ve got a sandpit but I’ve not been brave enough this year to have a look at the state of the sand! I need to! I’m loving the longer days, hope you all have a great Easter holiday. Xx #LivingArrows
