“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”

by Kahlil Gibran

The girls school works with a school in Uganda and every year they have Uganda Day and they have to dress up in the colours of the flag. It’s always an exciting day for the children, they have an Uganda lunch, do dances and they board a flight to head to Uganda. They came home with their boarding passes and passports they had made.

I can’t believe that we had a few sunny day last week and after school the girls were just in t-shirts. It’s crazy! We made the most of it and after a trip to the park with their friends, they had a quick bike ride too.

That is such a lovely idea, and sounds like the school goes all out for it! What a great way to learn all about another country! x #LivingArrows

Their outfits are so lovely and what a great tradition for the school to have. I love it when the children get to learn more about other cultures x

That sounds like such a great thing for them to do at school. And I can’t believe they were on their bikes in t-shirts – the weather has definitely gone back to winter since then hasn’t it? #LivingArrows
