“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”

by Kahlil Gibran

We’ve had a lovely half term and I love having the girls home. We definitely all benefitted from a break of the routine, but at the same time it is also nice to get back to normal.

Our week was a mixture of adventures, seeing friends and family and having time at home. It was lovely to have a balance and the girls said they a brilliant week.

We headed to Mottisfont National Trust and they had a trail on for half term, which my girls always love. It was a gorgeous day, even though Alice insisted on wearing her hat! It did eventually end up in my bag, but she wore it for quite a while.

The girls loved the water play area and the natural play area. We’ve only been to Mottisfont once before and we will definitely be heading back.

Hope you enjoy the return to routine today, sounds like you had a really lovely half term last week. I’m hoping for the same this week, a bit of a mix of time out playing and time just taking it easy at home! x #LivingArrows

Mottisfont is so lovely! Especially when they have the roses out. Its a long drive for us, but I do always try and get there once a year just to see them. Sounds like you had a wonderful half term break x

So lovely to get outside in this nice weather and I love that your girls enjoy playing with nature- wonderful to watch little imaginations making use of natural materials x
