“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”

by Kahlil Gibran

I took this photo of Alice when she was watching the snow come down, she was desperate for it to settle, but sadly it didn’t. When I look at this photo I can’t believe how grown up she looks, where did my little girl go. She is beautiful inside and out and I am so proud of who she is.

When Alice is at school, Holly loves to sneak into her sister’s bedroom and play with her toys. This week it was all about the blackboard and I had to write her name on it, so everyone knew that she did it.

Haha, Holly is such a little monkey! That’s exactly the kind of thing my little sister would have loved doing too – and it’s no fun if the older sister doesn’t know about it! Love Alice’s face looking out of the window too – sad it didn’t settle in the end, although Max loved just watching it come down too.

Shame the snow didn’t settle, but watching it can be pretty magical too as Alice discovered 🙂

That is such a lovely photo of Alice, it’s scary how they suddenly seem so grown up though isn’t it! x #LivingArrows

We were desperate for the snow to settle too but it didn’t here either! I’m sure school ages them! Love that Holly is claiming her territory! Xx #livngarrows

We so wanted the snow to lie here too. It never does being so close to the sea though 🙁 it was fun to watch however!

We didn’t get snow where we live and I was gutted, never mind the child haha, I remember winding my sister up and playing with her things, it’s adorable to see other children doing it too #LivingArrows

Looking for snow 🙁 but she looked so focused! Hahaha it is the youngest rights to use and play with the toys when they’re at school 😉 Sorry for the late comment #LivingArrows

I love what a little monkey Holly is – my littlest has just started the same hero worshipping of his big brother!
