“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”

We’re officially on half term and it feels so good to know we have a whole week ahead of us, with no school. I’m really lucky that the girls love school and I never really have any trouble with them going. But they do also love having the holidays, where we don’t have to rush in the mornings and they can relax at home.

Last week they had the school Valentine’s Disco and it was wear red day. I helped out at the disco and I love getting to see them with their friends. Especially Holly, as you do worry that they are making friends and having fun when they start school.

They both wore red skirts, I had to quickly sew Holly’s to take it in as it was a bit big and I am not really any good at sewing, but it stayed in. It wasn’t until later that I noticed that they were co-ordinating with their green tops too.

They were very excited and had a great time.

My boys had their valentines disco last week but only 1 out of 3 of my boys wanted to go.

I love their outfits! Totally rocking the red!

Aww, this is such a lovely happy picture of them both. Glad to hear they enjoyed the disco – Toby had one last week too 🙂

What a lovely idea. I wish our school did something like this. I really love their little red skirts and wouldn’t mind one myself. Its nice being able to help out and see them with their friends. Gives you at piece of mind the are all settled x
