“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”

by Kahlil Gibran

This weekend has been really lovely, despite me not feeling very well, I’ve still managed to have a lovely time with my family. On Saturday afternoon, Alice and I popped into town. Holly wanted to stay home with Daddy and make Big Ben!!

It was lovely to spend time with Alice, we did some shopping and then had a hot chocolate together. Alice is a little chatterbox, and I love just listening to her chat away. She comes out with some random stuff at times.

She is growing up so fast at the moment, and I love this photo of her.

On Sunday we took the girls out for a treat. They’ve both been doing really well at school recently and they choose to go bowling. It’s definitely a family favourite. It’s basically just the girls and I against each other, because Andy is so much better than us!!

Holly has decided she no longer needs the ramp and can throw it down herself. This little lady is growing up before my eyes and is very independent!!

Pleased to hear that you managed to have a lovely weekend, despite being under the weather. I hope you feel better soon! I’m terrible at bowling, and still use the ramp now! #LivingArrows

What a lovely family outing, I love Hollys skirt. I am really tempted by an adult one I have seen recently but I think Holly would probably pull it off better than me! Nice to have some time of your own with Alice she does look a lot older all of a sudden. I hope you are feeling better and this week is kind to you xx

Alice looks so pretty and I love her hair colour!
How old are the girls? I can’t wait to take my boys to bowling but we’ll have to wait a while because they’re still toddlers.

Bowling really is one of those times where children show how fast they are growing! Athena and Troy love bowling but we haven’t been in ages x

I’ve never actually taken my 2 bowling, and I’ve not been for years! I was never any good at it and didn’t really enjoy it, but maybe it’s time to try it again, the children would probably love it! x #LivingArrows
