Living Arrows 03/52 {2019}

I’ve really been enjoying our relaxed weekends this month. I know they won’t last, life always gets busier as it gets warmer and I’m ok with that. But at the moment we’ve found a nice little weekend routine, that seems to be suiting us all.

We used to always get up and go out in the mornings, and now we’re enjoying slower mornings. Having lunch and then going out. Yesterday we headed out for a winter walk. It was the perfect winters day, dry, sunny and crisp. The girls were in a great mood too and we had a lovely time.

Once we got home we snuggled on the sofa with a hot chocolate and watched Peter Rabbit!

Whenever we go on a walk, Holly likes to collect sticks and if there are no sticks, then she collects stones. She likes me to take a photo of her with her stones. I love her little ways, she makes me laugh and it will be a sad day when we don’t go home with a handful of stones.

    The views look amazing! I love an afternoon walk – especially in the winter it seems a little warmer in the afternoon

    Hot chocolate and Peter Rabbit is what my toddler would do all day if he could. No wonder why; I love a hot chocolate and a good movie too! #livingarrows

    Oh my word you should see the piles of sticks and stones in our back garden, the children always insist on bringing them home with us! Lovely photos of both the girls, and sounds like it was a really lovely weekend afternoon. x #LivingArrows

    Such lovely photos of them both. They look like they are enjoying the fresh air and being able to explore the great outdoors. We to have been taking a slower approach in the mornings at the weekends. Before I would be jumping out of bed and getting ready for the day as soon as my eyes had opened.

    There is definitely something to be said about slower weekends. I think they are very much needed this time of year. Kipper is stick and stone mad too. It’s a good way to keep them entertained. Hopefully she will enjoy it for a bit longer yet x
