“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”

by Kahlil Gibran

Alice went back to school last Thursday and on her last day we spent it doing all the things she loves. We baked, we did crafting and I took her out for a ride on her bike. She said it was the best day ever, apart from Christmas Day. I love how she loves the simple things in life.

She also is ready for the stabilisers to come off her bike and this is our next challenge.

Holly was one minute on her bike and the next minute on her scooter. I love this photo of her, she is under there!!

Oh bless her with her matching helmet and bag! J learnt to ride the ‘bikes’ at her nursery so at 3 she was riding a proper bike – good luck! It’s so nerve wracking! #LivingArrows

Good luck with the bike riding. We’ve never managed to persuade my son to try a bike without stabilisers and now he doesn’t have one at all. Scooting is still a favourite though #livingarrows

What a cool scooter! And I love the bag at the front too. So stylish! Good luck with the stabilisers off. How exciting for her!#Living Arrows

Haha this photo of Holly does make me laugh because George is in a permanent state of being hidden under his helmet or whatever hat he’s chosen for the day! Happy new year, Laura xx

It must be so nice to live in that little close and have a safe area for them to ride their bikes. Alice looks so happy! x

Monkey still has stabilisers on his bike too, I am not sure who is more scared of taking them off! Me or him! Love the photo of Holly as well xx #Livingarrows

Ah what a big step, taking the stabilisers off! Alfie usually looks like that on his scooter, I don’t know how he manages to stay on it with his helmet over his eyes! #livingarrows

I love these! Both mine look like this in their helmets too 🙂 We talking about getting Toby a proper bike soon – he’s never had one before but I really want him to learn while he’s still little. He needs a new scooter as well though so we’ll have to see… #LivingArrows
