Alice loves the Live Pets range, they are a great way for children to be introduced to the concept of having a pet, without having a real one.
She got the the Live Pets Bird Cage for her birthday last year and it’s been a favourite ever since.
We were recently sent the Little Live Pets Cutie Pups Play Case and Alice was really excited to see that her new pup was called Ruby, just like her cousin. The fact she had a crown on too, Alice was just bursting with excitement.
The case comes with Ruby the pup, but there are 3 additional single pups you can buy too. They each have their own personalities, run around, beg and play with you. To make her work there is a switch to flip, but you also have to lift the tail.
In the play case there is a place to put her ball, to make sure it doesn’t get lost and to pop down her food for when she is hungry.
At the side of the play case is a dog flap and if you turn Ruby on she can walk out through the dog flap all by herself. I don’t think Alice could believe it. In fact I couldn’t quite believe it either!
Once Ruby is out of her play case then the fun begins, she loves to run around, she will beg and her front legs come up.
You can get her ball out and play with her. She has a magnetic part to catch the ball.
As with all the Live Pets they respond to you. If you touch them on the sound points Ruby will fall asleep, sing and make cute pup noises.
Live Pets are aimed at 5+ and Alice is the ideal age for them. She is a naturally caring little girl and has a lot of love to give. Ruby is in great hands.
There aren’t many toys that really capture Alice’s imagination, but Live Pets does. The way they interact with you, means they are the toy that just keeps on giving. To get something back from a toy, a reaction, a sound, a movement means Alice just wants to keep on playing.
