If there is one collectible that Alice has continued to love it is Hatchimals. From the minute Father Christmas brought her one a few years ago, her love for them hasn’t stopped.
Today is an exciting today because the Hatchimals family is growing and you can now buy the new HatchiBabies. We were very lucky and got sent one earlier this week and Alice was the most excited I’ve ever seen her.
As with any family when you’re going to extend it, you don’t know if it’s going to be a girl or a boy and we had our own little gender reveal to see which HatchiBaby we were going to have join our family.
It really adds to the excitement when it comes to hatching your egg, just like it does for parents in real life. And also just like for parents, it doesn’t matter which one you get, as either of them will make adorable additions to our Hatchifamily!
The hatching of the egg is great fun and to find out who is inside you need to hug, tap, snuggle and pat your Hatchibaby egg. When they hear you, they reply with these cute little sounds and then you need to play with them more. The more EGGcited they get the better!
When you see rainbow eyes shine through the shell you know your HatchiBaby is ready to hatch and come and meet you. You need to help them hatch by rubbing the egg to encourage them and peeling back the shell.
Alice was very excited to hatch her egg and that moment that she realised she had a HatchiBaby girl was so sweet. Look at those big eyes looking up at her, it’s no wonder they love them so much. What a cutie!
With our HatchiBaby hatched I can now introduce you to our latest addition to our Hatchifamily…
Isn’t she adorable, it was love at first sight for Alice. Is there anything more precious than the first cuddle with your HatchiBaby!
With your HatchiBaby hatched, the fun doesn’t end there. Inside the egg there are more surprises to discover! You just peel and reveal the hidden accessories and a bonus is the pink part that had the accessories in, turns into a highchair.
Our four accessories were, a rattle, a hairbrush, a bottle and a cuddle buddy. Everything your HatchiBaby needs.
Alice couldn’t wait to give Ponette her bottle.
By caring for your HatchiBaby they will respond to you in adorable ways and those big eyes. I’ll let you into a little secret, different species may come with different accessories…Shhh you didn’t hear that from me!
I have one last thing to tell you about the HatchiBabies, they each have their own secret trick. To find out your baby’s trick, you hold the back of the Baby’s head and touch their forehead sensor twice at the same time. Then all is revealed…
The more you play with your HatchiBaby the more responses you’ll unlock. Feed, burp, tickle and snuggle your HatchiBaby and see the response you get back. Teach your baby to talk using “Yak Bak’ and they learn to repeat it. Play peek-a-boo by covering its eyes with your hand. Give your HatchiBaby the rattle and it will sing and dance for you.
If you would like to see what a boy HatchiBaby looks like, you can head over to my friend Laura at Five Little Doves as her children have a hatched their HatchiBaby and they have boy Ponette.
It’s safe to say that Alice has fallen in love with Ponette and she is now a well loved member of our Hatchifamily.
