These weeks are racing by at the moment, I can’t believe we only have two more weeks until half term. It’s been a mixed week for us and I am definitely pleased the weekend is here.
Let’s talk happy moments…
Alice had her first school party, it was really lovely that a little boy in her class had invited her. Obviously with her only just starting school, they are all just finding their feet with each other so it meant a lot that he included her. It was a go-karting party and Alice loved it.
This week I hit 3000 followers on Instagram and I am really pleased. Instagram is by favourite social media platform, I love finding new beautiful feeds to follow. And I’m pleased that all these people are enjoying mine too. It’s not an easy platform to build, so reaching this milestone makes me happy.
Holly and I met up with the lovely Katy and her son Max. I love that blogging has brought new people into our lives. They were really cute together and its always nice to see Katy. Plus I get to chat about blogging to someone that gets it!
I have been working on my new blog design for what seems like ages. It took me a while to get to a place where I knew what I wanted, but I’m finally there. I love it and it feels more ‘me’. I still have a bit more work to do on it, but more behind the scenes bits.
Last night I went to the cinema with my mum to see ‘The Girl on the Train’, we have both read the book and I couldn’t wait to see it. I did really enjoy the film and I expect if you haven’t read the book and watched it, you would think it was brilliant. But, it was nothing like the book. In fact I was worried I had got the book mixed up in my mind and I came home and started reading it again. but, I did have the right book in my mind and it’s not the same. So, if you are going to watch the film, don’t expect the book! But, you will watch a great movie!
This weekend I am taking Alice and my niece to see The Stickman show at the theatre for my niece’s birthday present. Andy is away in Brighton and I am flying solo too! Have a lovely weekend everyone.
