Barbecue, trips out and More Chicken Pox …Happy Days #20

Barbecue, trips out and More Chicken Pox …Happy Days #20

The week started well for us and our summer holidays had finally started. The sun even joined us for some of it, but it still needs to try harder. But then Holly got chicken pox and we are back to being housebound again!

It has meant I could get on with the birthday preparations for the girls. I have both the girls birthdays and Andy’s birthdays in August. Plus the girls party to do, it’s a busy birthday month for me.

 Lets talk happy moments…

bullet heartOn Sunday we had all my family over for a barbecue, the sun came out and it was lovely to watch all three girls play together in the garden. My girls love being with their cousin and little Holly just becomes Ruby’s shadow, its so cute.

We had a lovely visit to our favourite garden centre this week. Its more than a garden centre really, as it has animals, a park and a trip rides. In the summer you can do PYO and they have a brilliant man-made beach. Ok, it’s really just a large sandpit, but the kids love it. It has a canopy over it to protect from sun or rain, which we had at the end of our visit. We went with my parents and niece and its always a fun day out, plus there is no entry fee.

bullet heartI did my first video on my blog of the girls on their Micro Scooters, I loved doing it. I think there will be some more videos coming from me, as I have caught the bug!

We had a trip to the gymnastics with the lovely Aby and Baby this week. It was great to see them again and watch the girls bounce on the trampoline together.

bullet heartI’ve made a blogging schedule to hopefully be more organised and make better use of my time, especially over the school holidays. I felt like I was all over the place with it and now I know what I am doing on different days of the week. Feeling organised and having a plan makes me feel so much better. I just need to make it work!

This weekend is all change because of Holly having chicken pox. I’m taking Alice to a birthday party and she is going to my parents for a sleepover. Poor little Holly can’t go now, so we will be giving us extra cuddles at home. I hope you all have a lovely weekend.

Wow that is a very busy month for you! Planning a party is fun but three parties?!? I am sure your girls have a blast whatever you decide to do though 🙂
I love this post. It is so positive. It is so easy to get caught in stressful daily life but to list off happy moments is such a great idea. Thank you for positive vibe 🙂 Have a great weekend. #SharingtheBlogLove

Oh no! there is so much chicken pox around at the moment, both of my girls got them in the summer too and it was awful keeping them in. The garden centre sounds amazing, I wish we had one like that by us. Good luck with the party planning xx

Poor Holly! I half expected that she would get it after Alice did though. But it sounds like you’ve had a good and productive week otherwise, I will check out your microscoooters video now as I’ve been thinking of getting one for Little N. Thanks for linking up to #HappyDaysLinky x

Oh no! Chicken pox is awful with that long incubation period – you think you’ve escaped it and then it gets you! The garden centre sounds great – I love how much there is for kids to do at them now, they know bringing in the kids brings in the customers!

Oh well done with your blogging schedule, I could learn a lot from that! Blogging always comes last for me, I fit it in if I’ve got a bit of time after I finish work. I hope Holly is better soon.
