New School, Husband Home and Race for Life…Happy Days #15

We have been away this week in Wales with my parents and even though the rain joined us and no sign of the sun we still had a lovely time. It was just what we all needed and I feel relaxed and ready for next week.

 Lets talk happy moments…

bullet heartOn Monday Alice had her first visit to her new school in preparation for starting in September. It was only a short visit with me to get her familiar with it, ready for next week when she goes on her own. She loved it!

Watching my girls spend the week with my parents has been lovely. They adore nan and grandad and it has been a special week all together.

I started a new linky with the lovely Katy at Hot Pink Wellingtons and I am still amazed at how many lovely bloggers joined us. Katy and I just love the blogging community and this just proves how right we are.

bullet heartHaving Andy off work for the week makes me happy, I really miss him when I am home and he is at work. He makes me a better person and a better mum. We are better when we are together.

bullet heartComing home and seeing that we have smashed our fund raising target for the Race for Life on Sunday. We are raising money for Mummy’s Star a beautiful charity that supported my beautiful friend when her family needed it the most. We have raised enough money to support another mummy and that is truly amazing!

This weekend is a busy one, I am going to watch my niece in her first dance show and I can’t wait. Then on Sunday Alice and I are doing the Race for Life with a group of friends and their little ones. It will be an emotional one for sure…

Brilliant week. I love seeing my mum interact with her grandson, it’s a different bond to that of a parent. Great the Linky did so well, I’ll be back this week #happydayslinky
