What a strange week this has been, I have just been getting through each day and literally collapsing in bed. Consumed by grief and tiredness. Andy has been away for work and that has been difficult, but I survived. The girls have been their usual happy smiley girls and they keep me going.
Lets talk happy moments…
It was my birthday and Fathers’ Day and we spent it with my family. We went for a last minute lunch and all three girls were amazing. It was just what we all needed. Plus my wonderful husband and girls brought me a Canon GX7 for my birthday and I am super excited and can’t wait to start using properly.
Its time to stop pretending that Alice isn’t going to school in September, so we went into town and tried on some school dresses. She was so excited and it was lovely to see her so happy about what is coming up.
Spending time with the girls in the garden planting sunflowers seeds. Alice loved it and managed to do it all herself by just listening to my instructions. She was so proud of herself and keeps asking when they will be big!
Everyday my girls get closer and get closer. When they are apart, they give each other a hug goodbye and when they are reunited they literally run into each others arms. It melts my heart every time.
We are going on holiday next week and my parents are coming too. The girls are super excited nanny and grandad are coming with us and whilst I normally moan about the packing, I have enjoyed the distraction. I think it will do us all good to get away.
Today I am off to London for my first blogging event, BritMums Live Conference. I am really nervous and really excited. I hope to meet lots of lovely bloggers and chat about it without people looking at me weird. People that get blogging!
