Gift Guide For Under 4’s…

Gift Guide For Under 4’s…

With both Halloween and Firework night out of the way, its ok to talk about Christmas, right? I’m one of the annoying people who likes to be organised and start Christmas shopping early. I do most of my shopping online, as I can’t face the busy shops and now Holly is older I can no longer get away with shopping while she is with me. She would definitely spot the presents!

I’ve put together a gift guide on what is on Holly’s wish list, as I thought it would be useful if you have anyone of a similar age to buy for. I know that I find these types of posts useful for buying presents and hopefully this might give you some ideas.

Holly is 3 years old and with an older sister, it can make present buying harder. Thankfully she absolutely loves Paw Patrol and we had no Paw Patrol toys before.

Holly’s Wish List…

Paw Patrol Sea Patroller

As I mentioned Holly loves Paw Patrol and when the sea patroller started to appear on TV in adverts and with the new sea patrol episodes starting too, this is what she really wants for Christmas. The Sea Patroller goes from land to sea with its drop down wheels. It comes with Ryder and his quad bike. There is room to fit in 2 sea patrol vehicles (these come separate) and there is a helipad at the back for Syke to land on! The Sea Patroller is £65.99 at Amazon, but look out for offers. I managed to get ours from Smyth’s Toys for £55.

CAT Machine Maker Junior Operator

Holly loves diggers and I know she is going to love this CAT Machine Maker Junior Operator. It comes in a handy carry case and there is 7 pieces inside, a figure and screwdriver. Its great that you have to build the digger first and then you get hours of fun playing with it. Smyth’s Toys currently have it available at £9.99.

Magformers Inspire Set

I love educational toys that are fun and this is what you get with Magformers. The Inspire set comes with 30 pieces, 12 triangles and 18 squares and with the magnets you can make lots of different shapes. The set comes with step by step instructions, but it’s also fun to let their imaginations do the work. The Magformers Inspire Set is currently £29.99 at Amazon.

Bush Baby

Both my girls have fallen in love with Bush Baby, we reviewed one earlier in the year and Holly loves it so much it has made it onto her wish list to have a friend for her one. It comes with a sleepy pod and their eyes wiggle and ears waggle. The sleepy pod have a hanging stalk for you to hang anywhere. You can read my full review here. Bush Babies come in lots of different colours and are currently available at Amazon priced at £12.99.

Fox’s Socks Book

Both my girls are book worms and Holly loves books that have flaps. They are really engaging and it’s a great way to involve her in the story. We’re also big fans of Julia Donaldson books and we already have the Postman Bear book in this series. It’s a favourite of ours and this book is a perfect gift for Holly. Fox’s Socks is available at Amazon priced at £4.04.

Leapfrog Scoop and Learn Ice Cream Cart

I think that both my girls are going to be really excited to play with this, they both love role play and this is perfect for it. It comes with 20 playing pieces and the magic scooper recognises ice cream and toppings. It helps you learn colours, numbers, memory and matching. As you push it around it plays music. The Leapfrog Scoop and Learn Ice Cream Cart is available at Amazon £57

Paw Patrol Walkie Talkies

Who doesn’t love a walkie talkie? Children love them and my little paw patrol fan is going to love these ones. With a 24 metre range and a push a button to talk feature. I can see my girls have a lot of fun with these on Christmas Day. Adventure Bay will be in safe hands!! Paw Patrol Walkie Talkies are available from Amazon £9.25

Peppa Pig 9 in 1 Puzzle Pack

Holly’s other love is Peppa Pig and she also loves doing puzzles. She will sit for ages doing them and seems to have a logical mind and works them out. This pack is brilliant as it has 9 different puzzles in it, with different levels of difficulty. It will keep her busy that is for sure! You can buy these from Amazon for £14.79.

My girls go crazy for blind bags and not knowing what is going to be inside. They make great stocking fillers too and Holly is going to love seeing whats inside. Plush toys are always a big hit too and this Slither one is really colourful. You can buy toys from Amazon, Blind bag £4.79 , Plush Toy £9.99.

I hope by sharing Holly’s wish list for Christmas it has given you some ideas on what to buy your little ones. Now I just need to wrap them up and hide them away. Thankfully I have the perfect place that the girls don’t know about!

Awww Fox’s Socks was one of Monkey’s favourite books when he was little! Thats really taken me back. I know someone else who has the sea patroller on their wish list this year. At 5.5 yrs I though he would have grown out of it by now, but apparently not. Love the walkies too will have to consider them! xx
