I’ve always loved Christmas and every year with Halloween and Firework night over, I’m ready to start embracing Christmas. I’m a big kid when it comes to Christmas and since having children, this has only become even more so. I just love the sense of togetherness, the cosy nights with just the Christmas tree lights on and the excuse to meet up with friends and family for some Christmas fun.
If you’re a regular reader of my blog you will know that we’re big Disney fans and when Disney Store got in touch to ask if they could help us get ready for Christmas, I just had to say yes.
The girls were very excited when they saw their Christmas sacks, they are absolutely gorgeous. We were surprised and happy to see they had their names on. Alice quickly said that was so Father Christmas could put the presents in the right one!
Holly had a better idea and thought they could be the presents and they put their legs inside them. These girls make me laugh!
It’s not Christmas without a tree and the girls, in particular Alice, has been asking for their own tree. I recently brought them a small one and it’s perfect for the Disney tree decorations they were sent.
They loved having Anna and Elsa, sisters just like them.
Cinderella is Holly’s favourite princess and she squealed with delight when she saw her.
Of course we had to have a Micky Mouse decoration and this one is my favourite. It even matches my room colour theme!
Alice absolutely loves chip and was very excited to see we had a chip decoration.
Holly loves the Disney princesses and loves dolls, so you can imagine her excitement when they sent her an early Christmas present of all the Disney princesses figurine set.
They are really sturdy and beautiful dolls. Holly couldn’t wait to start playing with them and she hasn’t stopped since. I had hoped they would look great sat on her shelf in her room, but at the moment she has other ideas.
Alice got sent this brilliant Disney Sleeping Beauty Castle lego set and it kept her busy for ages building it.
I love the concentration that goes into building lego.
One of the things you need to be organised and ready for is the start of the advent calendar on the 1st December. We’ve been sent this lovely Disney Micky and Friends Advent Calendar, which I love. It means I can fill it with what the girls love and not every day has to be a chocolate/sweet day. I can mix it up, with small toys and things that they could do. For example, having a movie night with popcorn on a school night or doing crafts after school.
Alice had to check that there wasn’t anything already in it 🙂
Is it even Christmas if you don’t have Christmas pyjamas? They loved having matching Disney Minnie Mouse pyjamas and of course had to put them straight on.
We were excited to see that they had their names on the back too, which is such a lovely touch. It also helps me out, when sorting the washing and knowing whose is who.
I’m not too sure what Holly said that made her laugh so much, but she obviously thought she was very funny!
I just wish they did these pyjamas in my size!
Thanks to Disney Store the girls are feeling very excited about Christmas and I’m feeling a lot more organised. Now when can I start putting up the rest of the decorations?
