We are definitely on Christmas countdown now. Both Alice and Holly have their last days at preschool and school tomorrow, they finish so much later this year. I can’t wait to have them both home and let the Christmas festivities really start.
With us hosting Christmas the list of jobs that still need doing are starting to feel overwhelming. Every time I tick something off the list, I add another 2 things on.
December is always a busy month, there is a lot going on at Alice’s school and I’m constantly having to remember what it is she is doing and what she needs to take in with her that day. Our weekends have been busy with a trip to see Father Christmas and lots of birthday parties too. We’ve got one more birthday party to go to this weekend, which will be fun.
One thing that I have been more organised than normal is that all the girls presents are wrapped ready for the big day. But I keep getting that nagging feeling in my mind that I’ve forgotten to get a present for someone, does anyone else get that?
I’m sure I haven’t, but if you do have a last minute gift to buy for and you are struggling to know what to buy, then take a look at the One4all gift card. These are definitely gift cards that I will be reaching for in future, as they can be used in lots of different retailers and restaurants.
I love to receive a gift card as it means that I can browse and actually buy something for me, that I will love. They can make the perfect gift.
What I do know is that no matter how busy I am night now and how many items I have on my to do list. When I sit down with a glass of baileys’s on Christmas Eve it will all be done and if it isn’t, then really won’t matter. The girls will still wake up ridciulously on Christmas Day morning, they will still excitedly run down the stairs to see if Father Christmas has arrived and they will still go to bed with smiles on their faces, telling me it was the best day ever. And that is all that matters…
