Friends, Preschool and Autumn Walks…Happy Days #35

This week has felt like a long one and there has been so much going on with the house move. Why is it always so stressful? I keep reminding myself it will be worth it, but boy its tough going at times. Thankfully all the important bits are done and hopefully we will have a moving date soon…eek!

Let’s talk happy moments…

Number One

Last Saturday night Andy and I went out with lots of our friends for dinner. We very rarely get to see everyone all at once, it can be a logistical nightmare getting everyone available on the same night and then for everyone to arrange a babysitter. But it was worth it and really lovely to see everyone.

Number Two

Holly and I went to look round her new preschool on Monday and she loved it. She took her coat off straight away and headed for the little kitchen to play with. She happily did some play dough and a picture. It was lovely to watch her and she didn’t want to come home, which I will take as a good sign.

Number Three

Holly and I have been enjoying some lovely autumn walks in the woods near to where we will be moving to. Its really peaceful and nice to get some fresh air when we can at this time of year. It’s becoming my new favourite thing to do.

Number Four

We had Holly’s ballet class yesterday and as it was Children In Need they wore Pudsey beanie boppers. As if she didn’t look cute enough in her tutu, these are ridiculously cute.

Number Five

Is there anything better than watching your daughter walk hand in hand with their friend? I worry about Alice at school, is she making friends? Is she enjoying it? Then you see these moments and it melts my heart. And gives me comfort that I don’t need to worry (even though I still will!).

This weekend is a busy one for us with the girls have injections, swimming lessons and then on Sunday we’ve got a big family meet up at a nearby ice skating rink. Have a lovely weekend!

Bet the dinner was lovely and busy with loads of chatting! Holly sounds like she has had a great week. The autumn walks are so lush with the leaves everywhere but it has got cold!! x #happydays

Holly is just adorable in her tutu and pudsey boppers! That’s a great sign she was so happy to go off and play on her first preschool visit too, I’m sure she’ll absolutely love it! That’s lovely that Alice is making good friends too – I sometimes wonder if Max will ever start making friends properly, but I guess he’s a little bit young right now. #HappyDays

Oh I love the face that Holly is pulling in this photo. It actually makes it look like she’s doing karate rather than ballet 😉

Love the Autumn walks fresh. Moving does sound traumatic but it’s good that you are exploring where you are moving too! #happydays

I love autumn walks they are the best, the crisp leaves and the fresh air. Well done with the ballet lessons and the fab introduction to pre-school x
