This week has felt like a long one and there has been so much going on with the house move. Why is it always so stressful? I keep reminding myself it will be worth it, but boy its tough going at times. Thankfully all the important bits are done and hopefully we will have a moving date soon…eek!
Let’s talk happy moments…
Last Saturday night Andy and I went out with lots of our friends for dinner. We very rarely get to see everyone all at once, it can be a logistical nightmare getting everyone available on the same night and then for everyone to arrange a babysitter. But it was worth it and really lovely to see everyone.
Holly and I went to look round her new preschool on Monday and she loved it. She took her coat off straight away and headed for the little kitchen to play with. She happily did some play dough and a picture. It was lovely to watch her and she didn’t want to come home, which I will take as a good sign.
Holly and I have been enjoying some lovely autumn walks in the woods near to where we will be moving to. Its really peaceful and nice to get some fresh air when we can at this time of year. It’s becoming my new favourite thing to do.
We had Holly’s ballet class yesterday and as it was Children In Need they wore Pudsey beanie boppers. As if she didn’t look cute enough in her tutu, these are ridiculously cute.
Is there anything better than watching your daughter walk hand in hand with their friend? I worry about Alice at school, is she making friends? Is she enjoying it? Then you see these moments and it melts my heart. And gives me comfort that I don’t need to worry (even though I still will!).
This weekend is a busy one for us with the girls have injections, swimming lessons and then on Sunday we’ve got a big family meet up at a nearby ice skating rink. Have a lovely weekend!
