Father’s Day Gift Guide With Prezzybox…

Father’s Day Gift Guide With Prezzybox…

It’s coming up for that time of year where I have to remind my husband that Father’s Day is taking a second place to my birthday. It’s a busy couple of days in our house with lots going on, some good and some sad. But, we always look on the positive side of life and enjoy it.

It can be hard to come up with new ideas every year, but thankfully Prezzybox have come to my rescue and let me tell you they have the PERFECT present for my dad. But before I share the perfect present with you, it’s a good one so stick around. Let me show you what we’ve brought Andy.

Alice is old enough now to help choose daddy’s presents for Father’s Day. We sat down to browse their site and see what they had that we thought daddy would like.

She clearly knows her daddy well, because her first choice was sweets. Andy loves all the retro sweets (in fact so do I!) and this was the perfect present for him. Good choice Alice, he will love the Personalised Retro Tuck Shop.

It came in a box with a personalised card. I poured all the sweets out for you to be able to see the whole selection and just how many you get in a box. There is ALOT of sweets, just enough to share with me!

Prezzybox have a big choice of presents and I helped Alice out by narrowing it down to a few items that I knew Andy would love. I think she was getting a bit overwhelmed with how much there was.

Alice went for the Retro Pocket Games With LCD Screen, you may notice a pattern here. It has over 800 retro games and handy to take anywhere. Andy doesn’t have any computer games and I know that he often thinks it would be nice to loose yourself in it after a long day.

It will also be great for when we go camping later in the year.

Now onto what I’ve choosen for my dad this year. My parents are part of a wine club, yes retirement really is this much fun, and they have wine evenings with their friends.

With this mind I’ve brought him a Conundrum Wine Decanter. He will no longer have to pour the wine straight out of the bottle for his guests, but serve it up from this beautiful decanter.

I think he is going to be the talk of the wine club…

Now the one you’ve been waiting for. Now I love my dad, he is the kindest, sweetest man ever. I was always his little girl that could wrap him round my finger and now my girls do the same to him. BUT, there is one thing that used to embarrass me SO much!

Socks with sandals….

Oh my goodness I used to beg him to not do it and he never listened to me. He still does it now! Well Prezzybox have the perfect present, which means he can embarrass me all year round. I give you Sandal Socks!

Can you actually believe these socks, they are brilliant and made me laugh ALOT when I saw them. They are the perfect present for my dad.

Prezzybox are giving one lucky reader the chance to win a pair of Sandal Socks. To be in with a chance of winning just complete one or more entries below. Good luck!

My dad wore socks with Jesus sandals when I was younger (and still does now). I remember being on a family holiday abroad as a child and we were walking up a steep slope towards a Cathedral and one of the straps on my dad’s sandals snapped and he tripped over and sprained his ankle! My siblings and I found it hilarious but I remember him feeling rather hurt and embarassed lol!

He came home from a Christmas party one year having had slightly too much. I was in the front room with my friends. He came in the room and blew raspberries as he ran through, lost his balance and brought the whole Christmas tree down. My mum was fuming for several days.

We used to have a local fireworks and regatta display near to where we lived and my dad insisted on taking these large wooden step ladders for my sister and i to climb up and watch the fireworks.Carrying them through a large crowd was not funny and i can remember feeling so embarrased when he clipped people with the ladder as he tried to get through to find a space to erect it.My mum never came with us and looking back now i don’t blame her.

Brilliant giveaway, love what you’ve got for both Andy and your dad. Prezzybox are amazing, my go-to website for all gifts. My embarrassing dad story is that I bought my dad an AWFUL snoopy tie for his birthday when I was about 9. It was loud, garish and generally hideous. He did the usual pretending to be grateful thing and I heard nothing more about it. Until the day I graduated. Dad turned up wearing THAT tie. He wore it all day. Now that is a revenge dish that was served cold.

What is it about decanters? I just love them. We were given a super expensive one for our wedding and the blooming stopper went missing in a house move! Loving the idea of retro games!! Wouldn’t mind knowing how you get on with that actually.

My father was a bicycle-riding, hat-wearing, bushy-eyebrow’d, tree-planting, pigeon and poultry-loving greenie long before the term greenie came into common use. He was different to all other dads at the time.

Years ago he used to go out with his work on Christmas Eve and get really drunk. We used to have to push him upstairs to bed. However, one year my Mum’s VERY straight-laced friend knocked on the door just as he was passing on his way to bed, he decided to open the door and give her a huge kiss lol. Not quite sure how long it look for her to get over it.
