There are moments in our lives when dreams come true and that day happened for the girls on Friday and in particular Holly. Alice likes Paw Patrol and Holly LOVES Paw patrol, which meant when The SSE Arena, Wembley invited us as their guests to come and see the live show of Paw Patrol it was a very easy ‘Yes please!’.
Andy and I have been to the SSE Arena, Wembley lots of times and it’s a really easy venue to get to and parking is available right next to it and is easily located. You can pre-book parking for events too.
The girls were very excited and I don’t think Holly could get over that we were going to be seeing Paw Patrol live on the stage. As we took our seats, as always with Holly she was sat on Andy’s lap not too sure about what is about to happen. She is like this whenever we go to shows or the cinema at the start. But it doesn’t take her long to warm up and be on her feet.
“No job’s too big, no pup’s too small!
PAW PATROL, we’re on a roll”
Alice was practically jumping up and down in her seat she was that excited. You can’t help but get caught up in their excitement, its heart warming to see.
Based on the hit TV series, PAW Patrol Live! Race to the Rescue brings Ryder and everybody’s favourite pups, Marshall, Rubble, Chase, Rocky, Zuma, Skye and Everest to the stage.
In case you’ve been hidden under a rock and are new to Paw Patrol, Ryder is a 10 year old boy and he is in charge of the Paw Patrol pups. He has trained them to their own specific job. When there is an emergency he gets a call on his pup-pad and he calls all the pups to the Look Out Tower, depending on the emergency he sends the pups which can help the best to complete the rescue. Keeping the citizens from Adventure Bay safe.
We didn’t have to wait long before Ryder appeared on stage and introduced the pups one by one.
Both the girls love Skye and she came on last, much to their delight. With all the pups on stage, the fun could begin.
Without spoiling the show and giving too much away, it’s the day of the Great Race between Adventure Bay’s Mayor Goodway and Foggy Bottom’s Mayor Humdinger. When Mayor Goodway hurts her foot and is unable to race, the pups come to the rescue to save the day. Of course there were many heroic rescue’s that needed to take place along the way, before they made it to the finish line.
It was very cleverly done, when Ryder got a call on his pup-pad, a screen appeared at the side for you to see who was calling.
The famous Look Out Tower made an appearance on the screen behind.
Ryder then arrived on his ATV and Alice loved that he was actually driving it around.
Ryder decided that Chase and Marshall were the best pups for the first rescue and they appeared in their vehicles. It was great to see them driving around on stage, made it come to life even more.
Holly was completely mesmerised by it and couldn’t take her eyes off the stage.
Everest the newest pup made an appearance too with Jake to rescue Rocky and Rubble.
The show lasts for approximately 75 minutes with a 15 minute interval to give you chance to have a toilet break and grab an ice cream. It’s the perfect length for keeping the attention of little ones and my girls were engrossed in it the whole way through.
Paw Patrol Live is a brilliant show and any Paw Patrol fan would love it. My girls aged nearly 3 and 5 years old both throughly enjoyed it and it kept them entertained the whole way through. By the end of the show Holly was up dancing and singing along and Alice was waving the cardboard pom pom they give us as part of the show.
PAW Patrol Live! Race to the Rescue is continuing its tour for the next few months visiting Nottingham, Birmingham, Liverpool, Newcastle Upon Tyne, Leeds, Cardiff, Glasgow, Belfast and Dublin. To book your tickets now, click here.
Thankfully it’s really easy to exit the SSE Arena, Wembley and we were back in our car in no time. The drive home consisted of Alice asking me if they were the real Paw Patrol and why were there men holding them up!!! Nothing gets passed this girl, to wise for her years and I managed to divert the answer….
