A Dolls Pram From SilverCross That Every Child Will Love…

When I think back to my own childhood, dolls and prams were a big part of it. I had a doll called Rebecca, a navy pram and a pushchair that looked like a deckchair. I loved them and they were well played with.

Both my girls love playing with their dolls and there isn’t a day that goes by when they aren’t played with, get taken to the shop or on the school run. Which meant when we were asked if we would like to try out the Silvercross Pioneer 5 in 1 Dolls Pram, of course I quickly said yes. It comes in either pink or grey and we were sent the pink one.

It arrived quite late one day and I put it safely away where the girls couldn’t see it and once they were in bed I put it together. I wasn’t too sure how tricky it would be and I knew they would be to excited to wait for me to do it. As it happens it was very straight forward and easy to do. I had it put together in no time and wow what a gorgeous pram it is. The little girl inside me would have loved it and I knew my girls would to.

And I wasn’t wrong. Holly little face just lit up when she saw it and she couldn’t wait to pop her doll inside and take her for a walk.

The pram is gorgeous with such lovely detail to it, like the flower on the hood and everything just fits so perfectly. Which is quite often not the case. It really did feel like a mini version of the adult pram.

The pram is a good height as both my girls are able to easily use it and I know it will grow with them, which is what you want from a dolls pram that you really only buy once.

What I love about this pram the most, is that you can transform it into a pushchair and really easily. There are 2 poppers at the front and 1 at the back and you raise the bottom of the pram up by using these poppers to keep it in place.

Next there are 2 buttons either side that you press and push the pram down to have it more in a seating position. Then you just pop your doll in. It has the usual straps that you would expect on a pushchair.

You can also turn the pushchair around to have your baby forward facing, just like you would be able to on a normal size pushchair. My girls like to be able to see their dolls and won’t let me turn it around. I’m sure it won’t be long until they can manage this themselves and it will be changed all the time.

The hood can be retracted back easily and it fits really nicely at the back of the pram. The quilt is lovely and soft and a beautiful baby pink.

The basket is a really great size and Holly either fills it up with her shopping, which basically means tipping all the toy food we own in it (it’s that big it fits it all in!). Or because she has twin dolls, she thinks its the perfect place for her second doll.

You are able to adjust the height of the pram handle bar, which is another great feature that helps with having 2 children at different heights. Or as your child grows.

There is a carry handle that goes across the pram which can moved into different positions. And you can take the pram off the main frame and use it as a carry cot.

My girls are having so much fun playing with their new pram and it melts my heart watching them. With swivel front wheels it steers really easily and both girls have no problem pushing it around the house. It also folds easily and compact to store away.

The Silvercross Pioneer 5 in 1 Dolls Pram is for sale at Play Like Mum and has a RRP of £59.99. They have a full range of prams and pushchairs, something for everyone.

For me a pram is the perfect gift for any child and they are something that will grow with them as they get older. The Silvercross range of prams look so much like a real pram, that they appeal to both the parent and the child. I mean who doesn’t love a bit of twinning!

Disclosure: We were kindly sent our pram in return for an honest review. All views and opinions are my own.

Oh we have a Silvercross doll pram. We bought one for Oldest for when Youngest was born and she loved it. 4 years later and they still both play with it. This looks like a really fab new one 🙂

I think it is amazing how like the real thing toy dolls pranks are now. I love that is can be both a carrycot and pushchair pram. I don’t like gender specific colours on toys though, I would be interested to see what other colours they have.

Oh this is so sweet! My girls had silver cross prams for their first prams, they remind me of the proper prams I had as a child too. They only got rid of them for a double buggy, they wanted their dolls to be “twins” like they are, haha! I love seeing my girls play with their dolls, it’s lovely seeing them so maternal isn’t it?

I love how much it mimics a real pram! My little girl had a very basic pushchair for her 1st birthday which she absolutely loves. I’ve been looking for a better upgrade for her for Christmas and this looks perfect!

Oh this is amazing and exactly what my girls would love!! I have managed to pick up an old brown Silvercross Oberon that I am going to attempt to overhaul for Christmas but think this might be a better solution! Lol
