Discovering Shnooks The Toy That Keeps Growing…

Discovering Shnooks The Toy That Keeps Growing…

My girls love playing hairdresser and that normally means using my hair to play with. Whilst I don’t actually mind them using me, it can be quite relaxing to have someone to play with your hair. But of course with a three year old, there is probably more pulling than relaxing moments.

When we were recently sent the new Shnooks toys I was really pleased to see that they came with their own comb and accessories for the girls to style their hair. Meaning I was out of the hairdressers chair for a while.

Shnooks come in a plastic bubble, tightly packed and when you open them they don’t look much and I had wondered what we had been sent.

Here is the before shot…

But then the magic happens. Once you’ve unpacked them you have to shake them and when I say shake, I mean you have to give them a really big shake.

By shaking your Shnook it will grow 8 times in size. I think ours could benefit from a bit more shaking, but the girls were eager to start playing with them and styling their hair.

Each Shnooks comes with a comb, 2 friendship climbs and 4 hair ties which are different shapes.

Both Alice and Holly started to style their Shnooks hair, with the comb they came with.

And it wasn’t long before they were both wearing some lovely hair styles. Holly decided that 3 ponytails was the best look!

There are 6 Shnooks to collect, Alice was sent Shine and Holly was sent Shay. It’s worth noting that with a lot of shops if you buy online you can’t request which one you will receive. Which can make it tricky if you want to collect all 6.

Shnooks are priced at £7.99 and you can buy them from Amazon here. They are also available at Smyth Toys, The Entertainer and Argos.

My girls have loved playing and styling their hair and I can see them adding these to their Christmas wish list to collect all 6!

My daughter would love one of these. Interesting that they grow. Never heard of toys that grow before.
