A Day In The Life Of…Life As A Mum

I’m back with another A Day In The Life Of… It’s a chance for other bloggers to share what a typical day looks like for them. I’m proper nosey and I love to see what people get up to in their day. It’s also a great chance for you to find some more blogs that you might like to follow…

Today we have Beth from Life As A Mum who’s a Mum of 3. Her eldest is called Mia and she’s 7 years old, the middle child is Elliw who’s nearly 5 and her youngest is Freddie who was born in July 2016. She live’s with her partner (their Dad) in a small village in North Wales.

Let’s see what they get up to on a typical day…

.00: Freddie will wake (for the 4-5th time during the night) for a feed. We will go back to sleep for a little.
.00: The girls and my partner wake up. My partner will make the girls breakfast before he goes to work.
.30: I will get out of bed and get myself ready. We will all brush our teeth, get changed and come downstairs.
.00: When we’re downstairs I’ll do the girls hair, ask them to put their shoes on ready and while they go and play for a little bit I will pack their lunch bags ready for school. I will change Freddie’s nappy and depending on how we’re doing on time I will get him changed then or after the school run.
.30: Coats on and off we go for the school run.
.00: Arrived at the school yard. Drop the girls off and off back home I go with Freddie.
.30: Arrived home and I’ll make some porridge and fruit for Freddie. I’ll then make my own breakfast and a cuppa.
.00: I’ll do the dishes, put a wash on if needed and clean the kitchen and living room.
.00: Feed Freddie and settle him for a nap. I will then do some blog work until he wakes up.
.00: I will make myself some lunch and some finger food for Freddie. I have just started finger foods with Freddie and he is loving it at the moment.
.00: Tidy up before going out on the school run and feed Freddie.
.30: Go out to get the girls from school by 3pm.
.30: We arrive home. I make a snack for the girls, I feed Freddie if needed, do the dishes and make a cuppa. Then start to prepare dinner.
.00: Food ready for the kids, I’ll feed Freddie then do the dishes and clean the kitchen again.  Partner is usually home between 5 and 6.
.00: Get the girls ready for bed. Every other night they will go to bath before bed.
.00: My partner and I will have food.
.00: I will settle Freddie upstairs in his crib. Freddie usually wakes up between 2 or 3 times until 10pm, so I will settle him back down. I will also be doing blog work between this time.
.00: We will go to bed ready to do the same routine the following day!
