A Snapshot Of…May

A Snapshot Of…May

I know I sound like a stuck record, but seriously where did May go!

Here is our snapshot of May…

My Alice…

I can’t get over how much you have grown up this month, some days its like talking to a little adult. It really feels like we are coming to the end of the tantrums. Yes, you still have them of course you do, but not as often. We can go a whole week without one, as you are starting to understand life more. You understand when I say we will do something tomorrow, that actually isn’t too long to wait and you will happily accept it. As we head through these months leading to you starting school I can see how ready you are.

You love…

To be snuggly and cuddled up lately, always wanting a blanket to cuddle up in

To wear your new jelly shoes, they are clear with pink sparkly bits in. Holly has them too and you look cute together.

To eat your elephant friend biscuits

The outside time in the garden we are starting to have. You are your happiness outdoors and would happily be in the garden all day.

Little Holly…

On our holiday to Portugal you grew up so much, you seemed to thrive on having everyone with you all day. You are just full of chat and you and Alice have the cutest chats. You loved having your big sister to yourself for a whole week, you two played so well together on holiday.

You love…

Your new jelly shoes just your like your big sister. You call them your party shoes for some reason!

Hats! You have always loved hats and now the summer hats have come out you love your new ones.

Your new chair at the dining room table and being able to sit next to Alice.

To run, your little legs can’t keep up!

What I have loved…

I love a tidy and clean house, but this is more of a struggle to achieve since having Holly. Having two children life became so busy and I do what I can, when I can. But, even if I can cope (just about) with some mess and the toys everywhere. I have to have it clean. I have been loving the 3 in 1 disinfectant from Zoflora, especially their new summer breeze fragrance. It has left my house not only looking clean, but a lovely smell too.

During these warmer months all I want to do is drink water and whilst that is good for me, it is nice to sometimes add a bit of flavour. Stur are a new family run company that have created the perfect accompaniment to water, it is completely natural. No calories, No sugar, 7 essential vitamins, and no artificial sweeteners, colors or flavours. I have been really enjoying trying the different flavours, my favourite is the strawberry watermelon its really refreshing.

What we got up to…

We had our family holiday to Portugal this month and it really was the best week ever. We keep looking back and saying how perfect it was, we all really enjoyed spending time together as a family. We spent so much time in the swimming pool, both the girls just love the water and this really was their happy place. We used the Huggies little swimmers whilst we were away and they were great under Holly’s sunsafe suit. There was no leaks even when she gave me my first number two in the water…thanks Holly!

My favourite moment…

You won’t be surprised to see that my favourite moment was from our holiday. I took so many photo’s, but this is one of my favourites of my three little loves in the swimming pool where they had so much fun.

If you would like to see some more holiday photo’s you can pop over to my Instagram gallery where I posted a lot while we were away.

June is off to a great start with it being half term from preschool and I am looking forward to lots of lovely things we have planned for this month…including someone’s birthday (mine!).

Disclosure: We were sent the products from Zuflora, Huggies and Spur for the purpose of this post, however all opinions are my own.

That photo in the pool is fantastic. We’ve been looking to go on holiday to Portugal this week but not really sure of where would be good with a small child. It looks like your whole family had a good time though 😀
